Minimalist wardrobe model KU14 from the “Japanese Series” designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, The Netherlands 1958. This beautiful wardrobe is executed in birch wood, very rare because normally you only see them in teak.
It has two large doors with a folding mechanism and an original white flip-up door with the typical black plastic handles. The interior has five shelves, a rod to hang your clothes, a mirror, a hanging rack and a ladder for smaller items. It rests on a black lacquered metal frame.
This magnificent wardrobe is in very good condition with normal wear due time and usage. A real nice catch in any modern home, office or interior.
One small piece of one of the handles has been reglued.
